COVID-19

LIVING WORD REFORMED CHURCH COVID-19 POLICY

UPDATE: 6/24/21

The Leadership of Living Word RC thanks God for the freedom we enjoy to worship and we are grateful that we may now do so without the tight restrictions that were required before vaccines reduced the risk of transmission of COVID-19. As regards the pandemic conditions and worship practices, Living Word RC leadership will continue to watch and respect the directions of state and federal authorities. Nevertheless, presently, worship is open to all and masks and social distancing are no longer required. Worshipers are, of course, welcome to wear a mask if personally required to do so by their physician or if they choose to do so for personal reasons of comfort and safety.

All who attend services and other events, please adhere to the following guidelines:

  1. Wear a Mask Indoors – Masks are encouraged for use inside the church building. Please put on a mask before entering and apply it so that it fits properly both over your nose and over your mouth. If you do not have a mask, one can be provided for you.

  1. Practice Social Distancing – Please remember to practice social distancing both indoors and outdoors.

    1. Conversation – You are encouraged to stand six feet from non-family members.

    2. Seating – Non-family members should both keep an empty row between them and sit on opposite sides of the bench from the people in front or behind them.

  1. Wash Hands/Use Hand-Sanitizer – Please remember to wash your hands before and after coming to the church building. Hand-sanitizer is available at entryways and in rest rooms.

If you have a medical condition or decide for your well-being that you should stay at home, services will continue to be recorded for viewing on YouTube. You may access them here.

Thank you for your attention to these matters for the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic. It is our desire that as many as possible may attend worship and that everyone who attends is not only safe but also free from distractions due to health concerns. We will continue to observe CDC and NJ guidelines. But since we do not want to return to Zoom worship, we are asking every member and friend to consider the interests of other worshipers (Phil 2:3-4). By caring for one another, we express love (Mark 12:31) and the mind of Christ for God’s glory (Phil 2:5).

Yours sincerely,

Pastor Chris Fantuzzo
